Set the Scene
Manhattan’s Meatpacking District has been associated with lavish weekend brunches since the early 2000s, thanks to the likes of Catch and The Gansevoort. The intrigue has unfortunately dissipated in recent years, though the fad is already on its way back, thanks to “Brunch, Voulez-Vous?” at Sirrah.
The French prix-fixe concept from September Hospitality transforms brunch into a theatrical dining affair, fusing Parisian indulgence with playful extravagance. Served Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm - 3pm, the experience invites guests into Sirrah’s richly layered interior, where maximalist design elements create a glamorous yet lively atmosphere.
Champagne arrives early, surprise tableside moments unfold throughout service, and every detail feels intentionally celebratory. From silver julep cups overflowing with pommes frites to spontaneous caviar offerings, the brunch leans fully into decadent fun while maintaining unmistakably French sensibility.
The Food & Drink Assessment
Priced at $60 per person, the three-course brunch begins with a welcome glass of Champagne alongside warm pastries crafted exclusively for Sirrah by Zabar’s. Entrée selections balance comfort and epicure, ranging from golden French toast and shakshuka to Tuna Nicoise Salad, hanger steak, and the epic Sirrah Burger. Guests looking to elevate the experience can opt for the Lox Tower or Filet Mignon for an additional charge.
Every main course is paired with unlimited pommes frites served with a trio of housemade sauces: mornay, garlic dijonnaise, and verte. Supplements such as black truffle and Osetra Caviar make for another layer of luxury.
Dessert concludes on a sparkling note with Berries & Creme and a second pour of Champagne. Cocktail offerings are equally polished, including the herbaceous LEMON, the dessert-leaning ALMOND, and the bold COFFEE cocktail made with cold brew and espresso liqueur. The wine list boasts an extensive selection of sparkling, white, rosé, and red varietals by the glass or bottle.
Final Thoughts
“Brunch, Voulez-Vous?” delivers an energetic escape complete with Champagne, French comfort food, and unexpected, delightful moments. Sirrah succeeds in turning brunch into a full-scale occasion.
