Design & Character

Cobblers Cove is housed in a blush-pink renovated 1940s colonial-style mansion surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The hotel exudes effortless elegance, like a private country estate by the sea rather than a resort. The interiors pay homage to English country home comfort and contemporary island style, with handcrafted rattan furniture, pastel hues, and botanical prints that nod to the property’s storied past. The atmosphere is calm, this is a place that encourages guests to slow down and unwind.

The Rooms

With only 40 individually designed suites, Cobblers Cove offers a truly intimate stay. Each suite features a private terrace or balcony, spacious bathroom, and airy living area that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living. The design of the rooms strikes a balance between British refinement and tropical ease, think soft linens, wicker accents, and splashes of coral and turquoise.

The Camelot Suite, located in the hotel’s Great House, comes with a private rooftop terrace and panoramic ocean views, perfect for sunset cocktails. The Colleton Suite elevates luxury further with its own plunge pool and bespoke furnishings. In keeping with the hotel’s tranquil spirit, standard suites don’t have TVs, guests are invited to fully embrace the slow, peaceful rhythm of island life.

Food & Drink

Dining at Cobblers Cove is an experience in itself. The restaurant is one of Barbados’ most celebrated culinary spots, known for its fresh, locally sourced ingredients and refined interpretations of Caribbean classics. Expect perfectly grilled local seafood, vibrant island-inspired plates, and indulgent desserts like homemade rum-and-raisin ice cream, all paired with a thoughtful wine list and sun-kissed tropical cocktails.

Afternoons unfold with the charm of traditional English afternoon tea at 4 p.m., featuring delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked sweet treats, and a curated selection of teas served on the terrace. As for evenings, the atmosphere shifts with the weekly schedule; some nights offer peaceful, candlelit dining accompanied by the soft crash of waves, while others come alive with a vibrant Bajan BBQ under the stars, complete with a steel band, island flavors, and dancing that stretches late into the night.
