Design & Character
Banyan Tree Krabi is an island kid, blending Thai charm with contemporary luxury set against the dramatic limestone cliffs and turquoise waters of Tubkaek Beach. Drawing inspiration from Thai lore Naga, mythical, serpent-like creatures depicted as guardians of water, temples, and treasures, the decor is reminiscent of. Think curved, organic architecture, soft sand-toned palettes, and intricate serpent details. Open-air spaces and cascading water features create an otherworldly ambiance– perfect for rest and restoration.
The Rooms
Compromised by a mix of luxurious suites and villas, each offering either a view of a lush green garden or a scenic ocean view, intimacy and grandeur take center stage. Each accommodation is graced with a personal pool to dip and relax in–and the option to enjoy a floating breakfast is a must. Wood, stone, and sandy marble are textured throughout, relaxing and renewing the mind, body, and soul.
The Food & Drink Situation
Fresh produce and kicks of spice, sweetness, and tangy play a symphony for the palette. With four dining options, guests can choose between Thai cuisine and international flavors. Saffron is the jewel for luxurious dining, with each dish nodding back to Thai craftsmanship. Naga Kitchen is your all-day option, offering casual, filling, and delicious food. We highly recommend experiencing the breakfast buffet, which features a full bread room. For an incredibly unique and intimate dining experience, Bird’s Nest offers private tables perched among the treetops, providing sweeping views of the Andaman Sea.
The Amenities
Relaxation, rejuvenation, and renewal are the primary practices here, and the hotels work diligently to ensure these are achieved during your stay. Think beachfront loungers, paddleboarding, kayaking, and a dip into the pool. The grounds are calm and peaceful, with the waves welcoming you on one side and the mountains greeting you on the other.
Spa & Wellness Scoop
Wellness is the core and foundation of it all, so it's natural that there are high expectations for the spa treatments to come. Starting with the basics, a signature treatment like the Royal Banyan is a 150-minute session that incorporates Eastern and Western techniques, resulting in an ultimate pampering experience.
The pièce de résistance on the spa menu is the Rainforest Spa, a hydrothermal spa experience that combines European spa and hydrothermal therapy with Asian wellness philosophy. Playing with different water elements, the treatment includes a warm rain walk, a steam room, a sauna room, an ice fountain, a Vitality pool utilizing water jets to simulate soft acupressure, outdoor cold and hot plunge pools, and a heated bed to complement the treatment.
Location & Neighborhood
Sandwiched between the beachside of Tubkaek Beach with gorgeous views of the Andaman Sea and the lush rainforest of Khao Ngon Nak, the resort is blessed with amazing views, air, and serenity. While slightly secluded, the hotel offers transportation for easy access to go out and about.
