Emily Gerard is a Brooklyn-based journalist with a background in newspaper, magazine, and television writing. She wrote restaurant reviews for the Daily Pennsylvanian before heading to Vanity Fair, covering everything from New York’s Halloween dog parade to cutting-edge beauty treatments and pop culture. At age 24, she became the youngest-ever writer of ABC News’s storied daily news program Nightline. She loves to cook and entertain and orients vacation travel around culinary experiences.
