Perhaps you thought about booking a trip to Thailand after seeing The White Lotus. Or pretended you wanted to visit Scotland when you actually just wanted to see Ardros Castle from Traitors. With these spring film and tv premieres, you’ll want to make travel plans the second the credits roll.

The Madison (Out now)

Matriarch Michelle Pfeiffer and her clan relocate to the remote Madison River Valley in Montana after a life-altering event. The production took advantage of the life-altering views, filming at KG Ranch and JW Heist steakhouse. And though it may be a major plot point in the series, you need not worry: We would never recommend any place with an outhouse.

The Lark Bozeman loves Montana and it shows. The owners repurposed a former auto shop into a boutique hotel and filled it with pieces by local artists.

The Drama (April 3)

Zendaya and Robert Pattinson play a couple planning their wedding until an unexpected revelation comes out. The production filmed all around the Boston area, whether the Addison Gallery of American Art, Newbury Street, Kenmore Square, or the Mansion on Turner Hill. Between takes, locals loved seeing Zendaya and Tom Holland visiting local spots like Tatte Bakery.

In the middle of Boston’s landmarks you’ll find The Eliot, a classic choice with its own James Beard-winning restaurant.

You, Me, & Tuscany (April 10)

Halle Bailey plays a woman who takes an impulsive trip to Italy to stay at a stranger’s villa and then falls for his cousin ( Regé-Jean Page). The production traveled throughout Italy, from Rome to the Amalfi coast, but Tuscan towns Val D’Orcia, Pienza, and Monticchiello will steal your heart. While we don’t condone squatting on vacation, we highly recommend an impromptu trip to Tuscany.

The options are seemingly endless, but we can’t stop thinking about the newly-opened La Darbia in Chianti, for those storybook views!

Beef (April 16)

Cailee Spaeny and Charles Melton play a couple who witness a big fight between the boss at their country club (Oscar Isaac) and his wife (Carey Mulligan). The production filmed largely in Southern California, with plenty of country club locations to choose from. Look out for scenes by the ever-charming Arcade on Ojai Avenue, the Mission-Revival-style shopping area.

Hotel El Roblar, is Ojai’s oldest hotel, built in 1919 and renovated last year. It’s not a country club, but if you’re visiting Ojai, you can’t do better.

Widow’s Bay (April 19)

In this mystery-thriller, Matthew Rhys plays the mayor of a New England island town, which may or may not be cursed. The show was filmed on Bearskin Neck in Rockport, MA, shut down the restaurant Vita Bella Ristorante, and renamed Vincent’s Bar in Worcester “Salty Whale.”  If it feels particularly witchy, know that the series filmed right around Halloween. The renovated 19th century manor, The Rockport House, is a quirky-luxurious way to visit seaside Massachusetts, but without any curses. We think.

The Sheep Detectives (May 8)

Hugh Jackman plays a shepherd who read mysteries to his sheep until he died under mysterious circumstances. Listen up for a sheep voice cast including Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Patrick Stewart. And look up for the almost ridiculously picturesque Hambleden Square, Chiltern Hills, and White Pond Farm. Jackman spent some time on his own in the region and made local news when he took photos with the staff of Steeton Hall Hotel. But don’t sleep on the new spa at the Yorkshire Dales beauty, Yorebridge House.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 (May 1)

Obviously, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Bunt are back running NYC fashion. But they also get to travel to Milan for a Dolce & Gabbana show, where the cast stopped traffic in Lake Como. When filming in Italy, it’s prudent to bring your family along, which is exactly what Hathaway did. She reportedly stayed at the Grand Hotel Victoria, but don’t overlook Milu Milano, a 19th century converted palazzo with contemporary interiors, is for the design lovers.

The Four Seasons (May 28)

Season two of the Netflix midlife friendship and midlife crisis series is back this spring with Tina Fey, Colman Domingo, Will Forte. This season, they’ll hang in the Hudson Valley, from Beacon to Cold Spring. (Look for the Newburgh Brewing Company!) The beaches stayed local, with cameras rolling along the Jersey shore. Already manifesting a Bruce Springsteen cameo.

The 26-room Eastwind Hotel is a perfect friend-bonding destination in the Hudson Valley, with their Scandinavian design, hammock area, and year-round heated pool.
